# Discord

This guide will help you get the Squad ACL Discord bot invited to your server and connected to your Squad ACL organization.

### Before you begin

* Must be a Squad ACL partner.
* Must be an owner or admin of your organization.
* Must have Discord Administrator access.

  <Step title="Invite the Discord bot">
    To be able to link the Squad ACL Discord bot, it must be in your Discord server. To invite the bot, you must go to **Settings → Discord** and click '*Invite Bot*'. From there, select your community Discord and agree to the permissions.

  <Step title="Get your Link code">
    To link your Discord server to your Squad ACL organization, you must go to **Settings → Discord** and click '*Link Bot*'. This will copy a linking code to your clipboard. If it does not, a notification will appear with your code. Copy it from there.

  <Step title="Link the bot">
    Open your Discord server and use the command `/organization-link` and put your code into the 'link' field. If your organization is linked, you should see a confirmation of this. You can also check on the **Settings → Discord** page by refreshing and the buttons should be grayed out.

### Discord Commands

* `/generate-seed-embed` This command will generate a seed embed where members of your Discord can check their progress and link their Steam account to their Discord account.
* `/seed-leaderboard` This command will show the current top 10 seeders. *At this time, this command only shows the top 10, there will be support for more in the future.*
